Mill Pond was initially designed as a commission for interior designers Turner Pocock. The house it was intended for overlooked a large mill pond and it was this and the themes associated with an English country garden that were used as the inspiration for the design. Newts, dragonflies and water boatmen swim in a lattice of deep green lily pads, underwater stems and bubbles of frogspawn.
