Named after the second book in, author and naturalist, Gerald Durrell’s autobiographical Corfu trilogy, our Birds & Beasts wallpaper is a zoological parade of the many birds, animals, insects and aquatic dwellers mentioned, chased, acquired and collected by the young Gerald throughout the three books. The design evokes traditional Greek embroidery and vase paintings (despite Durrell's documented lack of interest in Greek history).
Printed using traditional methods in Leicestershire in England, the paper is flooded with a beautiful chalky ground and then rotary printed in four colourways:
Ionian Blue, Pebble, Sand and Thyme
