  • IMPORTANT

Before hanging check that rolls are undamaged, that numbers and letters are the same for each roll of this design and that all colours match. Return any defective roll with its label to where it was purchased. Take extra care when papering around electric light switches and power points. Do not allow excess moisture to drip onto electrical contacts.

    PREPARATION

Prepare wall by removing all traces of dirt, old wallpaper or loose paint. Do not hang wallcoverings on any wall with a history of damp. Fill any cracks and allow to dry before hanging. Absorbent surfaces should be appropriately sized using a diluted wallpaper adhesive, following manufacturer’s instructions. Sealed walls, i.e. painted, should be rubbed down with sandpaper to create a ‘key’. We recommend that for best results the walls be ‘lined’ horizontally using a good quality lining paper. Allow to fully dry.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE SAME ADHESIVE IS USED TO HANG BOTH THE LINING PAPER AND THE WALLCOVERING.

    HANGING

For Best results we recommend the use of a light weight ready mixed adhesive, or equivalent, follow the instructions carefully. Lightly fold to allow wallpaper to soak without losing moisture until pliable normally 5-6 minutes, making sure edges are well pasted. Carefully wipe off excess paste immediately with a clean damp sponge. After hanging 2 or three lengths, inspect the results to ensure there is no shading or other fault and the paper is suitable in all respects before continuing to completion.
